Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know

Helpful information about creating, personalising and ordering your Luxury Soft Image Cover Photo Book.

What makes the Luxury Soft Image Cover Photo Book different?

Luxury Soft Image Cover Photo Books combine premium lay-flat photographic pages with a flexible photographic print cover. The result is a beautifully finished photo book with a lighter, softer feel while still showcasing your photographs with professional print quality.

What is a soft image cover?

Unlike a traditional rigid hard cover, the Soft Image Photo Book features a flexible photographic print cover. Your chosen image forms part of the cover itself, giving the finished book a sleek, lightweight and contemporary appearance.

Can I personalise the cover with my own photographs?

Yes. The image cover can be personalised using your own photographs and design, allowing you to create a cover that perfectly introduces the story or collection inside your book.

Which paper finishes are available?

You can choose from Fujifilm Lustre, Glossy or Silk professional photographic paper. Each finish offers its own surface appearance while delivering excellent colour, tonal detail and photographic quality.

How many pages can I include?

Each book begins with 10 spreads, equal to 20 pages, and can be extended up to 30 spreads or 60 pages. Additional spreads can be added while creating your book.

Can photographs run across the centre of the book?

Yes. The lay-flat construction allows each spread to open fully, making it ideal for panoramic photographs and layouts that extend across both pages with minimal interruption through the centre.

What type of paper are the pages printed on?

The pages are produced using Fujifilm Professional photographic paper, providing excellent colour reproduction, fine detail and a high-quality photographic finish.

What is the difference between the Luxury Soft Image and Luxury Image Photo Books?

Both books feature premium lay-flat photographic pages and a personalised image cover. The main difference is the construction of the cover: the Luxury Image Photo Book has a rigid hard image cover, while the Luxury Soft Image Photo Book uses a flexible photographic print cover for a lighter and softer finished book.

Do I need design experience to create a photo book?

No. Our online designer makes it easy to arrange your photographs and build your book. You can use ready-made layouts and automatic design tools for a quick start, then personalise and adjust the pages until you are happy with the finished design.

Can I save my project and finish it later?

Yes. You can save your project and return to continue editing whenever you are ready. Simply sign back into the same account to access your saved photo book project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know

Helpful information about creating, personalising and ordering your Classic Material Photo Book.

What makes the Classic Material Photo Book different?

Classic Material Photo Books combine digital press printed pages with staple-bound construction and a tactile material cover. They offer a simple, beautifully finished way to present your photographs in a traditional photo book format.

What type of cover does the Classic Material Photo Book have?

The book features a premium material cover rather than a printed image cover. This gives the finished book a clean, tactile and understated appearance that works beautifully for a wide range of photographic collections.

How are the pages printed?

The internal pages are produced using digital press printing, providing crisp reproduction, strong colour and excellent detail across photographs, graphics and text.

Are Classic Material Photo Books lay-flat?

No. Classic Material Photo Books use staple-bound construction rather than the lay-flat photographic construction used for our Luxury Photo Books. Images should therefore be designed with the centre fold in mind when creating double-page layouts.

What does staple-bound construction mean?

Staple binding securely holds the printed pages together through the centre of the book. It creates a lightweight and practical photo book with a clean, simple finish.

Can photographs run across two pages?

Yes, photographs can be designed across a double-page spread. However, because the Classic Photo Book is not lay-flat, some of the image will naturally fall towards the centre fold. We recommend keeping important faces, text and key details away from the centre.

Can I personalise the material cover?

The Classic Material Photo Book is designed around its tactile material finish rather than a fully printed photographic cover. Choose your preferred available material option when creating your book.

What is the difference between Classic Material and Classic Image Photo Books?

Both ranges use digital press printed pages and staple-bound construction. The main difference is the cover. Classic Material Photo Books feature a tactile material cover, while Classic Image Photo Books allow you to use your own photography or design on a hard or soft image cover.

What is the difference between Classic and Luxury Photo Books?

Classic Photo Books use digital press printed pages with staple-bound construction. Our Luxury Photo Books use genuine Fujifilm photographic paper with premium lay-flat construction, making them particularly suited to high-end photographic presentation and uninterrupted double-page spreads.

Do I need design experience to create a photo book?

No. Our online designer makes it easy to arrange your photographs and build your book. You can use ready-made layouts and automatic design tools for a quick start, then personalise and adjust the pages until you are happy with the finished design.
